As the pictures show- this party was fantastic! The new, improved, more centralized location for Adornments in the Factory At Franklin is gorgeous! The art was beautiful, the jewelry dazzling, the invitations magnificent and the clothing stunning. Add to that a party atmosphere created by Margaret Tolbert of “Details by Margaret” event planning, delectable foods by “Busy Bees” catering, to-die-for chocolates from Schakolad in Cool Springs, fun games and even better prizes and you get a night that was an unabashed success!

Thursday, August 20th, 2009Lest you start to think that we’ve abandoned you all or succumbed to laziness due to our recent lack of postage…let me reassure you that we have not forgotten our loyal blog followers!! We’ve merely been trapped under heavy piles of lumber behind buckets of paint.. But we’re finally free again!!! So we invite you to view our journey from upstairs at the Factory at Franklin to our shiny, new location just off the commons area- DOWNSTAIRS (yes, still at the Factory)!!
So, just in case you for some unknown reason were unable to visit us previously, this is what the shop used to look like..

On April 26th, from 2-5pm
Adornments is hosting an open house to showcase our newest creations in custom jewelry and invitations!!
Adornments located upstairs at the Factory in Franklin, TN
Come and browse our gallery while mingling with other wedding professionals, brides and their families. All of our designers will be in attendance, so you can speak to them directly regarding any design ideas. Also in attendance will be Charlie Thompson, maker of titanium and wood inlay rings. Charlie loves custom orders!

We will be offering refreshments (of course!) and the musical stylings of Jack Grant, vocalist/guitarist.

Also in attendance will be the husband/wife photography rock stars, Zach and Jody Gray (you may remember them from shooting Alexis’ wedding last November!) with some of their amazing work to show!

Announcing a new addition!
Wednesday, February 11th, 2009We’d like to welcome Charlie Thompson to the Adornments guest artist team!!
Charlie specializes in titanium rings with wood inlays (though he does some plain titanium too). He uses all kinds of woods- local and exotic, and boy are these sweet!! Take a look!

We are very excited to have his work in our gallery! His rings are perfect for all occasions- from wedding bands to everyday right hand rings, men and women! He can do custom orders (just pick your wood, style and ring size!) and has an amazingly fast turn around time! These are hand made (obviously, or we wouldn’t carry them..) and available exclusively through Adornments, upstairs at the Factory!
Charlie comes from a long family history of wood workers, and has been doing this for most of his life. He’s currently working on a new line of titanium rings using Tennessee pearls! We’ll let you know how those turn out.
