Introducing Debra Tufford! God's World Photography

For most photographers, taking a beautiful image is the accomplishment of their art. Debra sees things a little differently and it surely makes her work unique. Her art is also an inspirational message. She finds a beautiful spot in nature, takes her shot and then she finds the perfect quotation to hand calligraphy on the matte. Saying that makes it sound easy and anyone who has ever tried to snap a photo knows there is much more to photography than that. To combine the photography with the perfect inspirational quote and then to hand calligraphy that message on the matte makes her work unique and very special.

Her photo with it’s inspirational matte is framed in a georgeous custom made hardwood frame, courtesyof her husband. These frames are beautifully put together. Got to love a man with skills!

Adornments Open House!!

You’re invited!!

On April 26th, from 2-5pm

Adornments is hosting an open house to showcase our newest creations in custom jewelry and invitations!!

Adornments located upstairs at the Factory in Franklin, TN

Come and browse our gallery while mingling with other wedding professionals, brides and their families. All of our designers will be in attendance, so you can speak to them directly regarding any design ideas. Also in attendance will be Charlie Thompson, maker of titanium and wood inlay rings. Charlie loves custom orders!

We will be offering refreshments (of course!) and the musical stylings of Jack Grant, vocalist/guitarist.

Also in attendance will be the husband/wife photography rock stars, Zach and Jody Gray (you may remember them from shooting Alexis’ wedding last November!) with some of their amazing work to show!

Photo Love!

Earlier this week, a good friend of ours came over to our shop to shoot (yes, with cameras!) our jewelry all professional-like! Zach and Jody Gray of Gray Photography did my (Alexis) wedding and have since taken us under their wing to help us get our business off the ground. They are pretty much the epitome of wedding photographers!! So when Zach offered to come and take some amazing pics of our stuff, we jumped on the chance- not only to spend some time with our favorite photographers, but.. well, the results are stunning (to use one of Zach’s favorite words)! The did an excellent job setting up and lighting our stuff for these pics. In addition, we have the honor of being given the spotlight on Gray Photography’s Blog! They’re so sweet! So if you haven’t already, check out their site!! They are a trip to follow (no! I don’t blog stalk..never! )

So here it is, the moment you’ve been waiting for! A sneak preview to the results of the photoshoot!!

For those of you who read the Dolphin earrings post that Laura put up, the above pictue is an example of what she’s talking about with the resin. All of those darkish, multi-colored spaces in the pendant were filled with colored resin.

And for you photo buffs, here’s the setup we used to get these awesome pictures! Yes.. there was lots of blue tape and random books used to achieve these results. You have to have plenty of random stuff laying around for a proper photo shoot ya know!
